To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
(Colossians 1:27 ESV)
He will never leave you or forsake you. He surrounds you with His love and protection. His Spirit lives inside of you.
And this is where the real battles take place. So the child of God is given real hope. Not the kind of hope we talk about like "I hope it will be sunny today." No, biblical hope is the confident anticipation of something that WILL take place at the proper time. Christ's presence reassures you that His kingdom will come, righteousness will reign, that His sacrifice is enough, once and for all, and He will enable you to persevere.
Look for hope in the right place, in the right Person. And when you find it, hold on to it.
